Human Milk - Tailor-made for Tiny Humans. Babywearing and breastfeeding are a perfect match.
Holding your baby close has many benefits for both you and your baby, not least for stress relief, bonding, and breastfeeding. Your baby wanting to be close to you all the time is the most natural thing in the world. And it can also be challenging for us mothers.
Using a baby carrier is an age-old way to stay close, whilst also being able to move around and use your arms! And you can breastfeed in all of Ergobaby's carriers.
Holding our children, especially skin-to-skin, but also clothed, causes the production of a hormone called oxytocin, which has a host of essential positive effects on both mother and child. Oxytocin helps to warm our skin and regulate our baby’s temperature and induces feelings of safety, well-being,

Happy Within: a Diverse Children's Book by Marisa Taylor
We have been lucky enough to have been working with the wonderful Marisa (and her gorgeous family!) ever since her daughter Havana was tiny. We've loved following their family's adventures over on JetLifeBaby, so when we heard that Marisa had created a children's picture book to help kids from around the world learn about self-love & diversity we couldn't wait to read it and shout about it from the rooftops!
Marisa lives with her husband André and their two daughters Havana and Naliya in London. They are a mixed Jamaican, Canadian and German family, and Marisa's inspiration for the book began when she became pregnant and her husband explained the harsh reality and challenges their daughter would have, because of her skin colour. Whilst Marisa knew she would never fully understand what her husband or children would go through

Ergobaby cannot be held
With the summer temperatures and recent heatwave we just experienced, have you ever asked yourself ‘how warm will it be in a baby carrier?’
Our partners in Croatia have hot temperatures more or less permanently - at least at this time of year. And that's exactly why a local carrying consultant wanted to know exactly what it was like:
What is the difference between a baby carrier made of mesh material and a cotton carrier?
To find out, she first kept an Ergobaby Adapt and an Adapt Cool Air Mesh at home at a constant 25 degrees and wore each for 10 minutes. After just under half a minute and at the end of the test wearing, a photo with a thermal imaging camera was taken. She repeated the same with the Tula Free to Grow and the Free to Grow Coast carriers. Meanwhile, her baby was wearing a cloth nappy and a cotton undershirt. She wore a cotton T-shirt herself.
The results of her experiment really amazed her Croatian colleague: While the
Can I Use a Baby Carrier when Pregnant?
Growing your family is a big and exciting thing and whilst some people might assume that you've 'done it all before' there are plenty of new challenges to face and experiences to enjoy being pregnant the second (or third or fourth or fifth!) time around. One of those, in particular, is dealing with pregnancy whilst already being a mother.
Plenty will be different - chances are there are fewer opportunities for putting your feet up this time - but there are some things that shouldn't have to change and one of those, at least for the earlier portion of your pregnancy, is babywearing.
Is it safe to babywear while pregnant and will I be comfortable?
The short answer is that if you are healthy and have no medical reason to avoid lifting loads then yes, babywearing during at least the early months of your pregnancy shouldn't pose any risk to you or your children.
Nearly four in ten new fathers claim they have been “dad shamed" because they take an active role in their child’s life, according to a new study.
A nationwide study of British men who have started a family within the last two years, revealed 38 percent of men said they have been made to feel less “manly” by others for being a "hands on dad".
According to the study some of the dads polled have been ridiculed for carrying a baby in a carrier, pushing a pram or taking shared parental leave.
Perhaps as a consequence, 72 percent of British dads feel there just isn’t enough support for new fathers, with 84 percent believing the impact of childbirth on dads goes widely unrecognised.
In a recent, high-profile example of “dad shaming”, 007-star Daniel Craig was called out last year by GMB host Piers Morgan, who questioned his masculinity for carrying his newborn baby in a carrier. His comments about the actor prompted a storm of outrage amongst parents and
