Love carries on.
Because LA is our home, we have decided to take action and share our resources where they are needed. We believe that we can make the most impact here on the ground. If you or someone you know has been impacted by the fires and needs baby gear, here’s where you can get Ergobaby, Tula, and Belly Bandit products in the LA area: We are working with the following local partners and friends to distribute baby carriers and other baby gear to those affected by the fires. Items will vary at distribution points, but our main focus will be Ergobaby and Tula baby carriers.. Some locations may also have Ergobaby strollers, nursing pillows, and sleep sacks, as well as postpartum and nursing products from Belly Bandit.

Our longtime partner is working tirelessly on the ground to provide essential supplies to affected families. We have provided baby carriers for them to distribute throughout LA, through their extensive network of organizations.

There can often be a whole mix of emotions when parents find out they are expecting multiples. This is understandable, as while double (or triple etc.!) the babies means double the love, a multiple pregnancy is officially considered a high-risk pregnancy and requires more extensive care than a singleton pregnancy. But what exactly are the risks and what do you need to consider if you are expecting more than one baby? We’re here to answer all your questions about multiple pregnancies in today's blog post. Because knowledge and preparation can help alleviate worries and fears so that you can look forward to your double, triple or even multiple miracle in a more relaxed way.
What is a multiple pregnancy?
A multiple pregnancy means that more than one baby is developing in the womb at the same time. These can be twins, triplets or more babies. For expectant parents and doctors, this is a special situation that requires a lot of attention and care.

Are you pregnant and don't know whether you are allowed to have sex with your partner? Do you know whether this will affect the pregnancy, whether you could even hurt your growing baby, or whether there are generally wrong and right times for sex during pregnancy? Or maybe you just don't feel the urge and are unsure about it? Then today's blog article is just for you. Because we'll tell you what's ok and what's not.
Sex during pregnancy can be a challenge
In principle, there is nothing to be said against having sex during pregnancy if your pregnancy is progressing without any complications. The unborn child is well protected by the uterus and the amniotic fluid and will not be harmed during penetrative sexual intercourse. If the pregnancy progresses normally, you can continue to have sex as you please.
However, sexuality also changes during pregnancy. Carrying a child has an enormous impact on you both physically and mentally, which also affects your need for closeness

Time's flying by! You've reached your little one's eleventh month, and they're surprising you almost daily! By the end of this month, your baby might be able to stand freely! Or maybe they already can? Some babies achieve this at nine months, others at 14 months. The differences between children are never more pronounced than with this milestone. But don't worry – it's all perfectly normal. Our midwife and expert Katrin Ritter agrees. In today's instalment of our blog series "Baby’s Developmental Milestones with Ergobaby: Baby’s First Year", she'll share what 11-month baby milestones you might observe in your baby's eleventh month and how best to support their development.
11-Month Baby Milestones: "Free Standing" and other steps
Has your baby developed strong core muscles and good body tension? These are key signs they'll soon master free standing. If your little one shows no readiness to stand or can't sit up from an angled position to a long-sitting position then consider

Hi! If you're here, you're probably facing the wonderful and sometimes challenging journey of breastfeeding/chestfeeding (or whatever term you prefer) your baby. Trust us, many of us here at Ergobaby know what it's like and have been exactly where you are right now. Whether this is your first time or you’re welcoming another little family member, getting a newborn baby to latch properly can be tricky. That's why today we want to share some practical tips and techniques to help you and your baby feel comfortable while feeding.
Latching on correctly - the basics
Before we go into detail, let's talk about the basics. Breast/chestfeeding is a natural process, but it doesn't always come naturally. One thing to focus on is getting little one’s initial latch correct. A good latch will ensure that your baby gets enough milk and that you have less to no discomfort.

Bonding with baby, or building a connection with them, plays a crucial role in your little one's development. It lays the foundation for their emotional and cognitive growth. Well-designed, ergonomic baby gear and shared activities can help you build a strong, secure bond with your baby. Plus, they're great fun for both of you! Take the Ergobaby Evolve 3-in-1 Bouncer, for example. In today's blog post, we'd like to show you how you can use a baby bouncer to build that bond.
Parent-Baby Bonding – Why It's So Important
You forming a good bond with your baby is essential for their development. It helps your little one build a sense of security and trust, which helps them form a secure attachment to you and is crucial for their emotional well-being. A strong, secure attachment can lead to better mental health and improved social skills. For instance...

Crying is one of the few ways babies communicate their needs to the world. Whether they are hungry, uncomfortable, or in need of comfort, a baby crying in sleep is a natural signal to let us know something is wrong. “Hey Mama/Papa! Come help me!”
During the day, it’s relatively easy to distinguish the cause of their crying, but at night, when we can also be tired and confused, it can often be more challenging. Babies wake frequently at night, especially in the early months, because they require a feed, a nappy change, or simply want reassurance and comfort. However, some babies also cry during sleep itself, which can be confusing and concerning for parents.
It’s important to understand that in the early months, waking and crying at night is perfectly normal. Babies have many needs during the night, and waking up to meet those needs is a healthy, normal part of their development. If your baby wakes up crying, it could be that they’re hungry or uncomfortable, and responding to those basic
