When shopping for a baby carrier, wearing baby in a front outward facing position is a feature that a lot of parents look for. Although some babies do not enjoy being carried facing outward, many love being able to watch the world around them, exploring new sights and sounds with the comfort of you close behind.
Unlike sitting facing the world in a stroller, wearing your baby front outward facing means she is held up higher where she can see over the fence at the farm for you to point out the animals or up at conversational height on a woodland walk, able to reach out and touch the leaves.
Before you embark on your world-facing adventure, you should know the signs that mean your child is ready, how to wear baby in an optimal, front outward facing position in our Embrace,

Behind the Scenes
Product Development: We Are All Ergobaby
After recently giving you an insight into our production facilities, we would like to go yet one step further back in the production chain. The creation of a new “Ergobaby” or the further development of an existing product from our company is always a joint effort. Because it is not only our chief developer Rodney in Maui who is involved in the creation process. By using our baby carriers, YOU play a major role in improving our products.
We take feedback from our customers, parents and, in some ways, babies very seriously and suggestions for improvement or confirmations always flow into the development of new and existing Ergobaby products.

Spread a Little Christmas Spirit with an Ergobaby Doll Carrier this Yuletide
We are excited to announce our first ever Santa Service, bringing a little bit of festive joy to the holiday season! You can order your little love an Ergobaby Doll Carrier for Christmas and it will arrive with a special note from Santa to let them know they are firmly on the Nice List and to thank them for being so well behaved this year.
The Ergobaby Doll Carrier is the perfect way for children aged 18-months and older to join in with babywearing and show their best friend the love and comfort they had as a worn baby. It also leaves little hands free for other games or tasks, and with teddy less likely to be left behind when safely carried, hopefully means fewer tears too!
Two magical new prints have joined the range in time for Christmas: Galaxy and Enchanted, both designed to captivate and delight children of all ages.

A Baby Carrier with a Little Extra Cleanliness
Ergobaby launch their first ever Anti-Microbial Baby Carrier
In response to parents’ ever-increasing need for a little extra hygiene and sanitation, The Ergobaby all-in-one Omni 360 carrier is now available in an all-new, super smart, anti-microbial fabric - to keep your carrier cleaner for longer*.
The Omni 360 Anti-Microbial Baby Carrier is made with safe and sustainable anti-microbial fabric with a Silver Ion treatment which neutralises odour-causing bacteria. This supports the elimination of stinky odours for a fresh carrier that lasts longer between washes, giving parents confidence, saving them time, and helping to protect the environment by reducing the amount of water wasted during the washing process.

Fair & Global: How Our Baby Carriers Are Made
Ever wondered how a baby carrier is actually made? What about a nursing pillow, sleeping bag, or swaddler? We're going to share a sneak peek into the processes of how our Ergobaby products are born.
As you might already know, the creative part of the production process takes place on Maui, which is the home of Ergobaby’s founder, Karin Frost. There, the product designers come up with fun features or innovative product ideas, which then eventually will see the light of day, piece by piece.

How Quality Baby Gear Saves the Environment and Your Wallet
Baby gear is expensive. I know that firsthand. I’m about to have another baby, and it seems like with each child that prices keep going up. I’m not a coupon clipper by any means, but I do like finding good deals and I’m not opposed to buying off-brand products or accepting hand-me-downs that are still in good condition.
While it’s good to be a savvy shopper and set a baby budget, there are some baby items you shouldn’t buy cheap.
When does it make sense to pay a little more for quality?
Flour is flour. Spices are spices. Some people may disagree with me, but the only real differences between most generic and name-brand foods are the packaging and prices of the items. So when you’re at the grocery store debating between Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes and the generic brand, you should be fine going with the latter. The box isn’t as fancy (sorry there’s no Tony the Tiger), but in this case, the cheaper
