How to Use the Easy Snug Infant Insert
Our Easy Snug Infant Insert can be used two different ways:
You can use the whole insert to totally support a newborn baby inside our Original carrier or our All Position 360 carrier. (Please note: you do not need a newborn insert for our Adapt and Omni 360 Carriers).
You can use just the pillow part of the insert as a cushioned booster for babies with stronger necks and better head control.

Yes Yes Yes! Summer is finally here! The sun is shining, it is warm and our fingers are crossed that it will stay for a while now. In these warmer to hot temperatures, we often get asked whether it is still okay to carry baby in a carrier. Is it not too hot for baby?
Here are some quick tips on keeping cool and confident while wearing your baby in warm weather.
Thin Layers
Your carrier or baby wrap acts as at least 1 extra layer of clothing, so it’s important to keep baby lightly dressed when using a carrier. You should still have spare clothes in your luggage - just in case that british weather changes! Fabrics made of natural fibers such as bamboo or cotton are the fastest drying and are breathable, so are often recommended. Speaking of being breathable: In the summer, mesh material is naturally most suitable, because they are permeable to air and additionally provide cooler temperatures while in the carrier.

The key differences between Omni 360 and 360 are:
• Omni 360 adjusts from newborn to toddler (7-45lbs / 3.2-20kgs), without the need for an infant insert, whereas 360 requires the use of an infant insert to use as a from birth carrier.
• The 360 carrier offers an adjustable H strap position with lumbar support where as the Omni 360 offers not only the H strap position but padded crossable straps for a snug fit and easy buckling on the front.

Iman, based in London, is a mum of 3 under 5, the youngest of which is just a couple of weeks old. She works from home and her children are homeschooled, making a baby carrier useful for both those lifestyles!
Iman has practiced babywearing with the Ergobaby Original for years and will use the same carrier for her new baby, as well as the aura baby wrap for the first weeks.
Where and when did you first get your Ergo?
I got my first Ergo as a gift from my older sister who had a baby 3 months after I did, in 2013. At that point, my son was 6 months old and I found it so very useful!
How long did you end up using it?
I ended up using it until 2017 - so for 4 years straight - as my son was 18 months old when my daughter was born and I used it interchangeably between them. My children have always been lower in weight so I've never found it difficult to carry them and I lived in a flat on the second floor that involved opening several security doors to get to. The Ergo
