Making the Most of your Ergobaby Carrier's Safety Features
All our baby carriers are specially designed to keep your precious cargo safe and comfortable at all times, but don't just take our word for it, we want to show you some of the features we've included in all our soft-structured carriers (our Adapt, All Position 360, Original and Omni 360 models) to help you and baby feel completely safe and secure using them:
Elastic loops - Each carrier buckle has a corresponding elastic loop, feed the buckle and all attached webbing through the elastic loops for extra security. Take a look in the image below and don't forget to fold up any loose webbing.
Lift and pinch buckles (Omni 360 only) - Any buckles that could be reached by inquisitive hands whilst outward facing have a special feature to ensure they can't be accidentally opened.
Baby privacy hood - Our baby privacy hoods aren't just for privacy, they are also UPF 50+ to keep your little one's face safe from the sun. Check out Vibes

Babywearing at Home
Babywearing isn’t just for long walks across muddy fields or navigating public transport when you can’t face lugging a buggy around (although those are both great reasons to babywear!), there’s a hundred reasons why babywearing at home is the best thing, and we thought we’d share a few…
Get things done!
It sounds pretty simple and it is. Even the most independent baby can be clingy sometimes but babywearing lets you get on with your life hands-free whether that’s giving some love and attention to another child, finally getting that cup of tea made and… wait for it… drunk whilst still hot, or just making your way through that ever-growing pile of washing. And pro tip: as your baby gets older try using the back carry or hip carry position if your carrier supports it to give you even more range of movement and freedom.
Breastfeeding
Babywearing can increase your chances of succeeding with breastfeeding and all Ergobaby carriers support breastfeeding while wearing your

Nine Tips to Help Parents During the COVID-19 Pandemic
We encourage new parents to follow the recommendations for the first 40 days, but here are some tips for helping new parents get through this time at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether your baby is 9 days old, 9 months old or you have older kids in the house, here are some helpful tips for self-care during this time.
1. Remember what is in your control and what is not.
Focus on what you can control, washing your hands, practicing kindness, eating well, taking your vitamins. Try to limit your news consumption right now.
2. Don’t compare.
Remember not to compare and despair right now, everyone will react to this scenario in different ways. Be gentle with yourself and with others.
3. Get some fresh air.
Some fresh air and sunshine is great for mental and physical health. Even if it's just a lap around the garden do what you can to get outside with baby…the fresh air will help you both!
4. Use a baby carrier for

How a Compact Stroller Will Help Your Everyday Routine
The everyday routine of a parent is busy and at times chaotic to say the least. And while children are wonderful, they can also make everyday errands into an epic event. Need to run to the store just for milk and toothpaste? Alone, you can be there and back home in 10 minutes. But with a kid, you never know how long it’ll take. You have to pack a change bag, put your child and his stuff in the car, drive to the store, take him and his stuff out of the car—there’s 25 minutes right there (not including any surprise setbacks) and you haven’t even made it into the store. It can make any sane parent feel like going crazy.
But everyday life requires leaving your house some days. You have places to go and people to see; not to mention your sanity to keep. Want to know what can help you keep your sanity? A compact stroller. It can’t pack a change bag or put your child into his car seat, but it does add some convenience to your everyday routine.

Add a touch of spring style to your wardrobe with the Ergobaby Adapt in Midnight Blue
Exciting news! Our Adapt carrier is now available in Midnight Blue and while it’s still a little chilly outside, spring is in the air and we’ve put together an outfit from the high street to help you show off your new carrier in style.
Nothing says spring better than florals and we are completely obsessed with this long sleeve button dress from Joules, the subtle print is ideal for anyone not completely sure floral’s their thing, while the button front is handy for feeding. The long sleeves and midi length make it perfect for those days where the weather can’t make up its mind, and the best part? It has POCKETS.
It also works with pretty much any shoe choice. Whether you’re a white trainers kind of gal or an Chelsea boot queen, you can’t go wrong. We love the pointy toe of these Office ankle boots and the tiny heel adds a bit of glamour while remaining practical for longer walks or chasing after toddlers.

“The emotional labor pains of becoming a mother are far greater than the physical pangs of birth; these are the growing surges of your heart as it pushes out selfishness and fear and makes room for sacrifice and love. It is a private and silent birth of the soul, but it is no less holy than the event of childbirth—perhaps even more sacred.” — Joy Kusek
A dear friend shared this quote with me about two weeks after I came home with my newborn baby.
My heart was grasping for something, anything, that could help me define what the heck was going on with everything around and within me. This woman’s words defined this sweet and difficult season so perfectly. I became a mother by title when the test turned up positive. I looked like a mother-to-be for the better part of nine months. But I wasn’t a mother in my core—yet.
The fourth trimester (giving birth and the few first months afterward) is a crash course, sink-or-swim, best thing ever but ohmygosh-it’s-hard

"Twinkle, twinkle, little star..." A real shower of stars have found their way to our cuddly and soft baby wrap Aura.
The two new designs "Twinkle Grey" and "Twinkle Silver" really deserve their names as they have beautiful little stars covering the soft fabric, increasing the Aura's range to ten different designs. Twinkle Grey has white stars on an anthracite background and Twinkle Silver has dark grey stars on a silver grey background.
Which is your favourite?

If you want to see how easy our Aura is to use, please watch Charlotte and Baby Stanley and find out for yourself.
If you decide on the (really!) easy to tie Aura in Twinkle Grey or Twinkle Silver, your little stars in the new designs will sparkle even more than they already do.
