Last month, we had the pleasure of working with CARiFiT and Scandinavian Londoner life & style influencer, Anneli Bush, creating some babywearing fitness masterclasses to help strengthen and tone your postnatal body.
Not just fit...
Squat & Press Masterclass
This is motherhood in a single exercise...squatting down and picking something up!
We just want to train your body to do it properly and by using the correct muscle and using your core for support.
If ever a move was going to protect you from common motherhood related aches and pains, this is it.
Curtsey & Curl Masterclass
Your new world requires a lot of carrying and holding – so make sure you check out the bicep curl 💪.
This workout will help provide you with both upper arm and grip strength.
The curtsey lunge shown will help to strengthen the legs and glutes and build much needed endurance to cope with the demanding days...and nights!
Side Squat & Leg Raise Masterclass
Squat and side kick is a move that will
When the sun comes out, we are regularly contacted by parents asking for tips on how to keep you and baby safe and comfortable in your baby carrier.
Here are some quick tips on keeping cool and confident wearing your baby in warm weather.
Thin Layers
Babies are naturally warm little bundles, which can lead to you both feeling a little uncomfortable. Your carrier or baby wrap acts as at least 1 extra layer of clothing, so it’s important to keep baby lightly dressed.
Shield from the Elements
Parents will tell you that a muslin has a 100s of uses and it’s never a bad idea to have one close to hand. Draping a muslin over exposed little arms and legs can help shield from the sun, but suncream should still be used as it’s still possible to burn through the thin fabric.
All Ergobaby carriers come with an integrated sunhood (folded into an open or zippered pocket on the back panel). This can be attached to one side or both sides on the shoulder straps, which allows flexibility.

Top Question
What's the best sling for a newborn?
We are asked this all the time. It's hardly surprising. The range of newborn baby carriers on the market can be a bit bewildering! There’s a vast array of brands that advertise their products as ‘perfect’ for newborns, so where on earth do you start?
Choosing a baby carrier is a lot like choosing shoes: it’s about a good fit, personal preference, and always worth trying before you buy. Ensuring your sling is fitted safely and comfortably is paramount: often this is

How I found myself in the grips of “babyfood panic”
As a mum with a three-year-old daughter and with another baby on the way, I have been through my share of culinary highs and lows. When my daughter was born one of the many challenges for me as a new mum proved to be food. As we approached her time to start weaning I found myself agonising over her first tastes and first solid foods; even this simplest of tasks raised a barrage of questions. I was gripped by “babyfood panic”, the only words I can find to describe my feelings of helplessness. And after sleepless nights, my anxious and exhausted

My Carrier of Dreams
I jumped at the chance to test out the new Ergobaby OMNI 360 Air Mesh recently. As a military family we split life between the super-hot and dusty Middle east and the UK and I’ve been longing for a carrier to emerge which does it all for us. I need something to perform in hot or cold climates, to have a big weight range to use with both kids, to be washable, stylish for me and cool enough for my husband to wear too. Oh, and it needs to help me run through the airport with one in it whilst pushing the buggy with one hand, balancing a coffee in the other and without losing a child, or my mind. BIG ASK.
I must be well into double digits with the number of carriers and wraps I’ve tried over the last few years. Babywearing is my must have for life as a mama of two. It gives me the freedom to take my three-year-old out on his bike, go out on a big adventure or go about our

Everyday, we hear stories from our fans about the longevity and durability of our carrier. “I’ve used the Ergobaby carrier for over six years and through three kids!” is a common refrain we hear! We’d love you to hear your stories and tag us on social media!
While our carriers are built to last and constructed for durability, here are a few tips to extend the life of your carrier.
Teething Pads
Most babies, once they start teething, suck on the straps of the carrier. It’s right there, ready for tiny mouths, who can blame them? The PH of their saliva even changes as teething begins. Did you know that you can get teething pads for the straps, and there’s even a special teething pad and bib for the 360 baby carrier? That way, all you have to do is pop the teething pads in the wash after baby has a major suck session!
Wash in Gentle & Air Dry
We recommend buckling all of the carrier buckles and washing the carrier with mild detergent on the gentle cycle
