What are the tabs on the All Weather Cover for?

Loop the top cover tab around the top carrier strap and snap it onto the inside of the cover. Loop the side cover tab around the side carrier strap and snap it onto the inside of the cover.
Complete this step on both sides of the cover. All four tabs should be looped around a carrier strap and snapped.
