The Rain and Wind Cover can be used in the front-inward, front-outward and back carry positions*. The cover is not compatible with hip carry positions.

Can I carry my newborn baby in the facing out position?
No. You should never carry your baby facing out until the following developmental milestones are met: - Displays good head and neck control - Chin clears the baby carrier panel when in good positioning This is usually around 5-6 months old.
Which carriers can the Rain and Wind Cover be used with?
The Rain and Wind Cover can be used with all Ergobaby baby carriers (except Aura Wrap). When using the Rain and Wind Cover with an Embrace or Aerloom baby carrier, you will not be able to attach the cover or cover pouch to the baby carrier waistbelt. The Rain and Wind Cover is also compatible with competitive baby carriers.
Is the Rain and Wind Cover water-resistant?
Yes, the Rain and Wind Cover is crafted with water-resistant, lightweight Ripstop fabric.
How do I adjust the Rain and Wind Cover to my baby's size?
Utilize the adjusters on the removable hood and foot area to fit the cover to your baby's size.
What are the snaps on the Rain and Wind Cover for?
The snaps on the top corners of the cover and side of the cover are used for easy attachment to your carrier. Utilize these snaps with the built in tabs for secure attachment to your baby carrier.
What are the tabs on the Rain and Wind Cover for?
Loop the top cover tab around the top baby carrier strap and snap it onto the inside of the cover. Loop the side cover tab around the side baby carrier strap and snap it onto the inside of the cover. Complete this step on both sides of the cover. All four tabs should be looped around a baby carrier strap and snapped.
