Top Question

What is the 'best' carrier out there?

Initially, I always smile as this is a tricky question. My reply usually begins with something along the lines of, "What is best for you, may not be best for everyone?"

I continue to say that slings are quite an individual fit before asking for more details of how, when and where a family want to use a carrier. Taking these details into account, as well as the parents body shape, all play a part in my recommendation. I do point out that there is a reason why as a sling library, we have over 350 different slings to choose from.

Slings are like shoes, your favorite pair won't necessarily fit your best friend. Taking time to find which elements work for you is key. Don't rush to make decision just because you have read a certain sling is the best, see if it is what you need. There is no point spending a large sum of money, if once you have bought a carrier, it sits unused on the shelf.
